- Minnesota law requires life jackets – one per person must be on board at all times. This includes paddle boards. One throwable floatation device is also required on all boats 16′ or larger. Life jackets for your use are hanging on the deck of the lodge or in the large storage box on lodge deck.

- Children under 10 must wear the life jackets.

- For the free watercraft, if there are others in the beach area that may want to use them, please limit your time to no more than one hour at a time. If you would like to use them for a longer period, you can rent any of these items, other than the paddle boat, for a small fee per ½ day or day.
